Project Description
In coordination with UPRR, construct three (3) Shoofly Tracks for construction of new bridge for UPRR Mainline Tracks. As a Subcontractor to Brutoco Engineering Inc., JA Placek Construction Co. was responsible for installation and removal of Shoofly Tracks.
Scope of Work
Construct approximately 4,300TF (track-feet) of Shoofly Tracks, two (2) Power Operated Mainline #11 Turnouts, and one (1EA) Manual Operated #9 Turnout with 136# CWR and Wood Ties including three (3) grade crossings at Detour Road. Shift, align, and resurface approx 1,000TF of UPRR Siding Track.

Scope of Work
Construct approximately 3,000TF (track-feet) of Double Shoofly Tracks and one (1EA) Power Operated #15 Turnout with 136# CWR and Wood Ties. After completion of new bridge and new Mainline Tracks, remove and dispose 3,000TF of Shoofly Track.
