Our History
Founded in 1970 by second generation railway worker James Placek, the Placek team has more than 50 years of experience in all phases of railroad work. J.A. Placek Constructions's headquarters are located in Sante Fe Springs California, a thriving industrial community central to Los Angeles, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Long Beach.
Our People
Our dedicated team of professionals include engineers, project managers and construction crews all of whom take great pride in each area of their expertise. The goal of every member of our team is to ensure that our valued clients are treated with the utmost care and professionalism. We strive not to just meet their expectations, but to exceed them.
We currently have over 30 employees including project managers, engineers, estimators, construction crews and a maintenance crew. Our experienced designers, engineers, and crews boast a consistent track record of on-time and on-budget projects.
