Project Description
In coordination with UPRR, construct Single Shoofly Track for construction of new bridge for UPRR Mainline Tracks. As a Subcontractor to Riverside Construction Co. Inc., JA Placek Construction Co. was responsible for installation and removal of Shoofly Tracks.
Scope of Work
Construct approximately 1,700TF (track-feet) of Shoofly Track and one (1EA) Power Operated #20 Turnout with 136# CWR and Wood Ties including installation of (1) grade crossing at Detour Road. After completion of new bridge and new Mainline Tracks, remove and dispose 1,700TF of Shoofly Track.

Construct approximately 3,000TF (track-feet) of Double Shoofly Tracks and one (1EA) Power Operated #15 Turnout with 136# CWR and Wood Ties. After completion of new bridge and new Mainline Tracks, remove and dispose 3,000TF of Shoofly Track.
