Vineyard Ave Grade Separation

In coordination with UPRR, construct Single Shoofly Track for construction of new bridge for UPRR Mainline Tracks. As a Subcontractor to Ortiz Enterprises Inc.

The work consisted in general of constructing a railroad grade separation of the existing Union Pacific Railroad line running east-west at the crossing of existing Vineyard Avenue. It required the construction of a railroad bridge, retaining walls, storm drainage systems, sewer systems, water systems, landscaping, roadway improvements, traffic signals, street lightning utilities and associated removals and protection of existing facilities.

The project required to maintain traffic through the project site. The construction was performed without affecting the railroad operations and according the project specifications and requirements.
